pretty daunting. This stands whether it’s in person or virtually.

It is completely normal to feel unsure what to expect before you step inside the studio and get into your flow. Some find it difficult to to determine which class is best suited to them, others simply don’t know how much the small group exercise environment can benefit them.

Whether you’re a Pilates beginner, Yoga novice or a runner looking to improve your strength & conditioning aspect of your training – our small group classes might just be the solution for you. Joining a class can help build a foundation and structure that you can use to fuel your personal health journey for years to come.

Becoming part of our community can provide you with the support and expertise to you need to ensure you look after your body.

We have outlined 6 benefits you’re sure to get from classes at PhysioSpace.

1. Motivation

It’s inspiring and motivating to be surrounded by dedicated, like-minded individuals. It doesn’t get much more empowering than a class with an encouraging instructor and supportive people all working together. Small group classes are a great way to help motivate yourself and others to dig deeper and push harder in workouts.

2. Structure

Our group classes are a great way to get a structured workout without having to think or plan. If you’re looking for that 60 minute chill after a hectic day at work our Hatha Yoga classes are the ones for you. Each class is structured with a warm-up, a balanced workout and a cool-down. Some of our classes put a bigger focus on relaxation and mindfulness.

3. Expert Feedback

Our Physio’s and instructor’s key aims are to not only promote proper form and teach technique, but to also make sure that everyone in the class is executing each exercise the right way, for them. Everyone is different and we are adamant that “One size does NOT fit all”. Not only is proper form important for your muscles to reap the most out of every exercise, but it also helps eliminate potential injuries. Something we are pretty hot on!

4. Variety

Mat Pilates, Hatha Flow Yoga, Gentle Hatha Yoga, HIIT Pilates, Vinyasa Flow, Low Impact, Running rehab – the list goes on. We offer a variety of classes and our mission is to provide you with options so you can mix and match with our class passes. We are big believers that variety is key when staying active. To prevent common injuries such as back pain, knee and neck pain – it is essential to exercise in regularly in different ways. This means a mix of Pilates, Yoga and Low Impact strengthening across the week – whether that’s in our classes or using our App to continue your programme at home. Having a variety of classes in your weekly workout regimen is a great way to create muscle confusion, which keeps your body guessing and ramps up your metabolism. It also helps prevent boredom.

5. Accountability

Signing up in advance for our classes is a great way to keep yourself accountable for your workouts. If you’re signed up and it’s on your schedule, there’s a good chance you won’t skip it. The relationships you form with our instructors go beyond the 60 minutes of the class. Our clients maintain strong lines of communication with our instructors which provides support long after the class finishes. This alliance pays dividends when it comes to achieving your long term goals.

6. Sense of Community

There’s really no other way to put it: StudioSpace group classes are fun. Between the upbeat music, or relaxing savasana, a great workout and a group of people motivating each other along the way, it’s an enjoyable way to exercise. If you’re looking for that endorphin buzz and a little more fun in your fitness life, group classes may be just what you need.
